The CleverEVAC Dynamic RED X sign can display a red cross with flashing corners, alerting those evacuating to seek an alternative exit. Using advanced lighting and printing technology, the red cross with flashing corners has been proven through the Fire Safety Engineering Group (FSEG) research to be intuitive and effective in demonstrating negative enforcement. The sophisticated look and design of the blade will satisfy all architectural requirements and is available as a recessed or surface mount unit.
The RED X mode is triggered either by a 24VDC or voltage free open/close signal from the fire detection or other building safety system. The GREEN mode is also built in, to accommodate different fire and evacuation scenarios. The use of the RED X must be designed and documented by a fire safety engineer.
